Tracking your Universal Search Traffic
For all those interested in Universal Search, I recommend you guys checking out SearchCowboys.com.
I wrote a post there on How to Track Universal Search traffic with Analytics.
It explains how to set up filters so you know which link in the SERPS was clicked if it was a universal search item. For some this is directly measurable, for others it will give indications of the 3-click-path.
