Google Maps has just announced that they launched a beta verison of Turn by Turn navigation software for the Android 2.0 platform!

Features highlighted are :

Search in plain English
Search by Voice
Traffic view
Search along route
Satellite view
Street View
Car dock mode

The first phone to be supporting the application will be the motorola droid. More info in the video!

Just a few days ago I reported about Google Street View available in Spain. Italy now has the follow up! It is available in Rome, Florence and Milan.
As I said before, I expect more countries and cities to be announced soon!

Spain is now the second country in Europe to have StreetView available, in 4 cities, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville. This was the announcement made yesterday on the Google LatLong blog. The first country to have StreetView available was France, soon after the Tour de France took place.
