Google Maps Spam report option – tiny hooray for Google

Lots of SpamThis morning I read on Matt’s Blog that Google opened up a thread in the Google Maps Help Groups for Business Owners where we are now able to post our Google Maps spam issues. You can find it here

In the meanwhile, colleague in the Local Search business, Mike Blumenthal featured a little story what Google needs to do to carry the burden of Global Map Spam. Hopefully Google will take care of spam issues now quicker than ever (task not to difficult eh? )

This is classic Google Maps Spam, using a Blog loaded with every possible keyword, repeated 10, 000 times.
I reported it to Google, they didn’t do chit.

Some times report spam feature will be effective slowly. But within that time the spammers may already attained their targets.

Here is a major spam factory. Spamming everything under the sun with the keywords repeated over and over again thousands of times http://www.roof-cleaning-institute.activeboard.com
